Global Internship Experience

I got the opportunity to live in Dublin, Ireland for two months to complete my summer internship. I worked at Kingston Lafferty Design which is residential interior design firm. I was able to experience life in a different country which I am forever thankful for. It was the best experience and got to learn a variety of skills that I will use as a go into the professional world of interior design. I worked in SketchUp and AutoCAD for the majority of the time. I was able to show everyone how to render spaces in Enscape, as they have never used that program before. I was able to go on site visits of both residential and commercial spaces and found a love for both types of design. I worked along side amazing designers and was able to learn more than I could have imagined. A big thank you to all my co-workers for welcoming me into your company and allowing me to thrive. I will always be grateful for the experience of a lifetime.
